ARK 2012 raises £14.5 m
Last night ARK's annual dinner raised £14.5m (including match funding) - an extraordinary show of generosity at any time, but especially so given the challenges of fundraising in this climate.
The funds will be directly invested in innovative partnerships which transform children's lives, both in the UK and the developing world.
The bedrock of all ARK's work, these partnerships between
governments, industry and non-profits accelerate the delivery of
quality education, health care and protection for some of the
world's most disadvantaged children. To date, over 350,000 children
have directly benefited from ARK's programmes. ARK operates
programmes in health, education and child protection.
