Extended Schools Programme

ARK’s extended schools programme supports ARK Schools’ vision to develop high aspirations, motivations and achievemnt in all of its students. Extended schools provision raises student attainment, enabling children to have fun and develop new skills, whilst building trust and support between families and schools. It also enhances the support available to vulnerable children, providing a safe and enriching environment for longer than just the school day. 

Extended activities educational, physical and artistic programmes during lunchtime and afterschool as well as breakfast clubs, Saturday school, educational visits and residential trips, holiday activities and outings. ARK now provides more than 900 activity places per week across its academies network.
