Our impact

Our interim evaluation found that average scores for English writing and conversation among pupils were at least double those of pupils taught by traditional methods. A total of 558 teachers have undergone intensive training in teaching English using our phonics-based method. Over the four year programme, we aim to reach over 60,000 children.

The strong partnerships we have already formed with government agencies and other philanthropic bodies in India will be key to addressing the difficult challenges of scaling up our work.
